About Ray Angelo

I have been photographing the world around me for over 30 years. I always try to find the uniqueness of a subject no matter what it is and showcase that. My photography can be displayed on any type of wall space from residential to commercial as well as used for graphic design and advertising.

A lot of my inspiration visually comes from seeing a lot of movies in my life. My series "A Touch of Color" was inspired by 2 movie scenes...the Wizard of Oz scene when Dorothy comes out of the black and white house into the colorful land of Oz. It was a scene that stuck in my head from when I was a young boy. The other movie scene was the little girl in the red coat in Schindler's List. It was a very emotional scene and I realized how color combined with black and white can be a very powerful tool to focus the viewer on a specific part of an image to invoke an emotion.

I invite you to explore this site and view my photographs. If you would like to purchase anything please drop me a note and I will contact you and put together a beautiful presentation for your wall space, whether it consists of one photograph or many.

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence."
- Ansel Adams
